Tidworth is a garrison town positioned on the borders of Wiltshire and Hampshire,
and is surrounded by a rural and dramatic landscape that spreads for miles. Ideal
for those interested in walking as there is a huge network of footpaths which
stretch across stunning countryside, leaving walkers spoilt for choice. In the town
there is a wide choice of shops on offer, several cafes, a collection of tempting
takeaways to choose from, and a selection of welcoming pubs.
IDH Tidworth is a modern practice that was opened 2 years ago and both surgeries
benefit from modern up to date equipment. The surgery available is spacious and
filled with natural light. The practice has a full support team including full-time
Practice manager and experienced nurses. Although the practice does not have a
dedicated Hygienist, there is a referral network to allow for referrals to a local
Hygienist. The role is for a full-time associate working on a two week shift pattern
that includes 2 late finishes a month and 2 Saturdays a month. The contract is for
5000 UDA's.
Please note that due to current PCT restrictions and lack of an approved mentor we
can only consider candidates with NHS experience or an active PCT performer number.
At IDH you can enjoy excellent development, full support and complete professional
freedom, and as the UK's largest and most successful dental body corporate, we can
offer you more of what you want.
We believe in building for the future - that's why we invest huge amounts of time
and money every year into developing our Dentists and their surgeries. We've also
created an organisation that manages the day-to-day distractions - leaving our
Dentists free to concentrate on developing their skills and careers, whilst
providing excellent patient care.
You'll enjoy a career with excellent earnings potential, competitive UDA (or
equivalent) rates, 50% contribution to lab fees and access to an established patient
list and private practice opportunities.

The contract value will be discussed on application and private work is also
available. As this is predominantly an NHS role, you would need to be fully
registered with the relevant PCT (having undergone a CRB check if you have not had
one within the last 6 months) before you can start. If your notice period and/or PCT
registration period would take you beyond the date stated, this is not a problem as
we are keen to recruit the right individual for the role; we would just need to know
timescales so that a locum dentist can be identified to cover any gaps.
