Amesbury is a small attractive Market town embraced by a loop of the River Avon.
Amesbury is the closest settlement to the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge, which
lies just two miles away, and is within easy reach. Tempting places to eat and drink
range from tea shops and cafes to pubs and restaurants, while Shopping is a
pleasure, with everything from major discount outlets to unique, individual
retailers. 

The Amesbury practice is a modern surgery having only opened 2 years ago, and so
benefits from modern equipment. It has two surgeries, and the surgery available is a
bright airy with lots of natural light. Though the site does not have an Hygienist
there is a local surgery where patients can be referred for Hygiene appointments.
The role is offering 5000 UDA's working full-time on a two week shift pattern
including two Saturdays a month.

Please note that due to current PCT requirements, and the lack of an approved Mentor
we can only consider candidates with NHS experience and an active performer number.

The contract value will be discussed on application and private work is also
available. As this is predominantly an NHS role, you would need to be fully
registered with the relevant PCT (having undergone a CRB check if you have not had
one within the last 6 months) before you can start. If your notice period and/or PCT
registration period would take you beyond the date stated, this is not a problem as
we are keen to recruit the right individual for the role; we would just need to know
timescales so that a locum dentist can be identified to cover any gaps.
