We have an Associate role arising in our practice in Whitehaven in Cumbria. This is
a 2-surgery practice which is well-equipped and fully computerised. You would be
taking over a very-well maintained, existing patient list and the patients here are
lovely. This role is available from 23rd April 2012. This offers 4944 UDAs per annum
with a competitive UDA rate, and private work is also available. We have a surgery
available Monday to Friday so you could decide how many days per week you would like
to work in order to achieve the UDAs.

Whitehaven is a market town on the north west coast of Cumbria and is bursting with
history. It is situated close to the Lake District where you can enjoy fell walking,
mountain biking, sailing, rock climbing, diving, camping and sight seeing. In the
Whitehaven town centre you will find a beautiful harbour with surrounding walkways,
Beacon and restaurants. Once a year the town holds a maritime Festival which is
attended by over 100,000 visitors. Through the summer months there are outdoor
concerts by the harbour side. In addition there is fresh water fishing, a Coast to
Coast walk and cycle way and a beautiful beach surrounded by shorter easier walks
with magnificent views over the Irish sea.
