We currently have an excellent opportunity to join a well established dental
practice based in Chard, Somerset. Chard is a small town in the south of Somerset.
This quaint town has a busy main street with a good mix of shops, restaurants and
bars. Located 13 miles south-east of Taunton and the M5, Chard has good
communication links to the rest of the South-West.
This practice, as with all IDH practices, benefits from having a full support team,
including Practice Managers, to ensure smooth running of your appointment book and
the practice itself, and nurses, all of whom are GDC registered or working toward
GDC registration. The vacancy is for a total of 7921 UDA's working Monday - Friday
9:00am-5:15pm
Please note that due to PCT requirements only candidates with active performer
numbers or recent NHS experience can be considered for this role.
At IDH you can enjoy excellent development, full support and complete professional
freedom, and as the UK's largest and most successful dental body corporate, we can
offer you more of what you want.
We believe in building for the future - that's why we invest huge amounts of time
and money every year into developing our Dentists and their surgeries. We've also
created an organisation that manages the day-to-day distractions - leaving our
Dentists free to concentrate on developing their skills and careers, whilst
providing excellent patient care.
You'll enjoy a career with excellent earnings potential, competitive UDA
(or equivalent) rates, 50% contribution to lab fees and access to an established
patient list and private practice opportunities.
You can apply online by clicking the link. Alternatively, for an informal discussion
regarding the role and/or the practice, please contact Andy White on 01204 799699.
The contract value will be discussed on application and private work is also
available. As this is predominantly an NHS role, you would need to be fully
registered with the relevant PCT (having undergone a CRB check if you have not had
one within the last 6 months) before you can start. If your notice period and/or PCT
registration period would take you beyond the date stated, this is not a problem as
we are keen to recruit the right individual for the role; we would just need to know
timescales so that a locum dentist can be identified to cover any gaps.
