This part-time role is based in our Wimborne practice in Dorset. Wimborne is a

picturesque market town in the East of Dorset. The town has a population of 6,418
and is situated on the convergence of the River Stour and River Allen. Poole is only
five miles away, and the coastal resort of Bournemouth is only half an hour away
with its breath taking beaches, and bustling nightlife. Wimbornes main
employer is the aerospace company Cobham, and the bustling economy is dedicated
towards leisure and offers a great variety of restaurants, pubs and excellent
shopping.  The practice itself is a bright modern practice with very modern
equipment , 5 surgeries, 5 full-time nurses, all of whom are GDC registered or
working toward registration, and benefits from the services of two hygienists. We
have surgery availability for a dentist to work 2 out of 3 days from Wednesday,
Thursday or Friday, delivering 3200 UDAs.

Please note that current PCT requirements mean that EU applicants with only a UBELT
3.5 or IELTS Academic 7.0 need apply.

The contract value will be discussed on application and private work is also
available. As this is predominantly an NHS role, you would need to be fully
registered with the relevant PCT (having undergone a CRB check if you have not had
one within the last 6 months) before you can start. If your notice period and/or PCT
registration period would take you beyond the date stated, this is not a problem as
we are keen to recruit the right individual for the role; we would just need to know
timescales so that a locum dentist can be identified to cover any gaps.
