Question: Why is not letting me upload my CV?
Answer: This is generally because your CV is in .docx format because you have saved this in Windows Vista. Either save your CV in 97-03 format in Microsoft Word on the save as option and try again, or click build CV through in our jobseekers area.
Question: How do recruiters use my Jobseeker Profile?
Answer: Your profile is stored in our candidate database, and its use is controlled by you. Recruiters use a tool we offer called 'Candidate search' in which they can specify the type of candidate they are looking for, and then search the database for matches. You will only be included in the search if you have made your profile available to be searched. When recruiters find a match, they can contact the candidate.
Question: Why haven't I had a response to my application?
Answer: When you apply for a job advertised on Dental Jobs 4 U, you are effectively emailing the advertiser. Dental Jobs 4 U does encourage our advertisers to respond to all applications, but unfortunately this does not always happen. It is always a good idea to follow up your application with an email or phone call. As Dental Jobs 4 U is not an employment agency in the traditional sense, we do not take part in the selection process. For feedback on how your application is progressing you need to contact the advertiser. If you have used the 'Apply for this job' button, you can usually get their contact details by logging in to your account, and clicking on the 'My applications' link. On this page will be listed all the jobs you have applied for. Click on the job title to see the details of the jobs. The advertiser's contact details are displayed at the bottom of the pop-up.
Question: Can foreign nationals apply for jobs in the UK via Dental Jobs 4 U?
Answer: Yes, foreign nationals can apply for jobs advertised on Dental Jobs 4 U. You must, however, be legally eligible to work in the country a specific job is based in.
Question: Can I send my application to you?
Answer: Dental Jobs 4 U - is not an employment agency in the traditional sense, so we do not accept CVs or job applications by post or email. The web site is set up for you to carry out searches, and allow recruiters to match you to their positions (via your Jobseeker Profile). When you complete an application online, you are contacting the recruiter directly, in a format that they can accept and process easily.
Question: How do I setup a Job seekers account?
Answer: Setting up your job seekers is very easy, simply click on the job seekers button on the homepage, add your details and we will email you with all your login details within seconds!
